A good, hand-rolled bagel can be hard to find, especially with ingredients that make sense.

We were tired of grabbing bagels off the shelves and seeing countless ingredients whose priority is to preserve rather than to nourish.

So we set out to make bagels that nourish, using minimal ingredients and delivering flavor that speaks for itself.

  • We’re Weston and Shannon, the husband-and-wife team behind Nala’s Bagels, with our golden retriever Nala. We started this business with one simple belief: great bagels should be made with ingredients you can count on one hand, or one paw. What began as baking for family and friends has grown into a mission to serve our community real food, made with care, simplicity, and a whole lot of heart.

  • At Nala’s Bagels, we believe quality starts with restraint. We keep our ingredient lists short, intentional, and recognizable, because there are no shortcuts for great food. Each bagel is hand-rolled, properly boiled, and baked to achieve that classic chew and golden crust.

Bagel poppers are bite-sized, hand-rolled bagels crafted with our traditional boil-and-bake method and a short list of simple ingredients, finished with a lightly golden exterior and a perfectly chewy center.

Around here, Nala calls them pawpers.

  • Bagels are baked fresh and shipped out each Monday and Wednesday of the week. We guarantee 1-2 day shipping based on shipping zones.

    For Monday shipping, place your order by Friday at midnight.

    For Wednesday shipping, place your order by Sunday at midnight.

  • We bake in limited batches to ensure quality and freshness. When pre-orders open, you can reserve your bagels online before baking day. Once baked, they are packaged fresh and shipped same-day to your door.

  • Yes. Every bagel is hand-rolled. We use simple, organic ingredients and follow a traditional boil-and-bake method to create that lightly golden exterior and perfectly chewy center. No shortcuts, no fillers, just real bagels the way they should be made.

  • We use organic ingredients in making and baking our bagels. From flour to toppings, we prioritize quality and simplicity so you can feel good about what you’re eating and sharing with your family.

  • No. We bake our bagels fresh most weekends, and ship them fresh for you to enjoy.

    Our bagels have no preservatives, so please enjoy same day or the next. We include easy freezer-safe bags for storage so the can last you weeks inside of your freezer.

  • If you plan to enjoy them within a day or two, store them at room temperature in a sealed bag. For longer storage, keep them in the freezer and thaw as needed. We include simple reheating instructions to help you get that fresh-from-the-oven feel.
